Manpower Efficient Performance Brilliant
With more than 40 years of experience and relying on efficient and
skilled human resources, Behran Oil Co. has been operating in Iran as one of the largest
manufacturers of industrial lubricants, engine oils and petroleum waxes, using the most
advanced equipment. Behran owes all its accomplishments to its human
resources, believes managing director Ahmad Mohammadi Bousari. Here is Behran in
greater detail:
Going on Stream: Behran Oil Co. started its operations as a
private joint venture enterprise under license of Esso multinational company affiliated to
Exxon. At early stages, the company produced engine oils by blending imported additives to
base oil which was supplied by Abadan Refinery. In 1966, it set up an oil refinery with an
annual capacity of 30,000 tons. In 1967, the refinery went on stream with an annual
production capacity of 30 million liters of base oil. By 1977, the capacity rose to 60
million liters and by 1984 to 100,000 tons per year. In 1967, the companys name was
changed to Behran Oil Co. with the name Behran constituting part of the
trademark. Five years later, the establishment of a 3000-ton low-oil paraffin wax unit at
the companys refinery was a major step toward preventing the waste of human
resources and increasing the countrys foreign exchange revenues.
